MEET THE FOUNDER

Karen Higgins Valentine, founder, is a senior business executive and lawyer with over two decades of biotechnology industry experience.

Ms. Valentine is an accomplished attorney. She has spent time in the corporate biotechnology practice group of a Boston law firm representing private and public companies and has served as in-house Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of biotechnology companies. Prior to forming KHV Advisory, she was most recently the Chief Legal Officer of Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she joined pre-IPO and worked with other members of senior management to build the organization, raise additional capital, advance the programs, and close a successful M&A transaction with MorphoSys.

Ms. Valentine is a savvy business and strategic advisor. She has substantial experience as a member of executive management teams, a key contributor on strategic committees and transactional teams, a confidant to CEOs and other executive colleagues, and a strong mentor and organizational builder.

Ms. Valentine has a proven track record of providing her clients with exceptional advice and focused execution in such areas as partnering, financing and strategic transactions, organizational planning and growth, employee development and coaching, contingency planning, reorganizations, and effective communication.

Ms. Valentine has a passion for science and medicine, with a B.A. in neuroscience, and has dedicated her career to working with companies determined to bring scientific breakthroughs to patients.
